Jorge Villoslada Durán is a young composer whose work mainly revolves around transmedia and interdisciplinarity. He studied the Master's in Composition at the Hochschule der Künste Bern with Cathy van Eck and Simon Steen-Andersen. He completed his Bachelor in Composition at the Anton Bruckner University in Linz under the guidance of Carola Bauckholt. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor's degree in Art History from the Complutense University of Madrid.

As a composer, he has had the privilege of collaborating with ensembles such as Neue Vocalsolisten, Vortex Ensemble, Schallfeld Ensemble, Vertixe Sonora, Input Duo, Landesjugendensemble für Neue Musik Baden-Württemberg, Lizard Ensemble, and Luail - Ireland's National Dance Company. Additionally, he has participated in masterclasses and received guidance from composers such as Mauro Lanza, Clara Iannotta, Trond Reinholdtsen, Pierre Jodlowski, Óscar Escudero, Matthew Shlomowitz, and Aaron Holloway-Nahum. His works have been featured in festivals and institutions such as Wien Modern, Limina Festival, Darmstädter Ferienkurse, Brucknerfest, Leicht über Linz, PlayTime Bern, the Landestheater Linz season, among others.
